Pertussis Immune Globulin is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Chest tightness, Chills, Fever, Nausea and vomiting.

Warnings / Precautions

Pertussis immune globulin should be used with caution in patients with any illness, infections, blood disorders, seizure disorders or if have any allergy. This should not be administered to adults or to children 7 years of age or older. This should not be used in persons who have had a previous reaction to Pertussis vaccine or who have recovered from Pertussis illness.
