Acute pyelonephritis/prostatitis

Due to bacterial infection ,severe inflammation in the kidney and its pelvis occur, beginning in the interstitium and rapidly extending to involve the tubules, glomeruli, and blood vessels. it is characterized by fever, shaking chills, pain in the costovertibral region.
