Anaphylactic shock

A severe,often fatal form of the shock characterized by smooth muscle contraction and capillary dilation initiated by cytotropic (IgE class) antibodies, It is typically an antibody associated phenomena that doesnot occur in sensitivities of delayed kind (type IV allergic reactions).
